Congratulations to our trophy winners for the season 2012, presented at Torquay January 2013

Griffin Trophy

Tricia Luxton, of Tiverton, Devon.  Travelled from John o' Groats to land's End, using a team of 4 Dartmoor Ponies and a carriage taking 32 days.  Starting on 17th April finishing 25th May.  She raised in excess of £16,273 for the Teenage Cancer Trust

Alex Dick Jubilee Cup

Karen Bower, of Berkhampstead Hertfordshire.  Travelled from Land's End to John o' Groats, using trains, buses and boats.  She was accompanied by her children, Harry aged 5 and Imogen aged 2 

Alroyd Lees Cup

Eldon Mackridge, of Haverhill, Suffolk.  Drove from Land's End to John o' Groats in three days 8th - 10th September, he raised £800 for Suffolk Crimestoppers.

 Brenroy Trophy

Simon Pollard, of Chinnor Oxfordshire.  Cycled from John o' Groats to Land's End in 80 hours 4 minutes, from 30th April - 12th May, he raised £14,000 for the Silver Star Society, Oxford.

Chambers/Hume-Spry Cup

Steve Statham, of Okehampton, Devon.  Cycled from Land's End to John o' Groats in 15 days, 27th June - 11th July,he raised £3,600 for St Lukes Hospice Plymouth. 

Charlie Hankins Memorial Trophy

Martin Fletcher, of Barnoldswick, Lancashire.  Walked with his 2 dogs, from Land's end to John o' Groats, taking 95 days, 23rd April - 28th July, raising £1,500 for the Veterans Association UK

Committee Cup 

Anne Bell, of Dalry Ayrshire.  Walked from Land's End to John o' Groats in 70 days, 1st March - 11th May.  She raised £1000 for SSAFA.

David Webb Commemorative Trophy 

Terry Chard, of Towyn, Conwy.  Handcycled from Land's End to John o' Groats in 92hrs 29mins between 9th June - 23rd June.  He raised £4,000 for Help For Heroes Spinal Unit, Gobowen.

Dennis Greenslade Cup

Harry Waugh, of Newton Stewart, Wigtownshire.  Travelled by quadbike from Land's End to John o' Groats then back to Land's End, taking 3 months, 16th July - 16th October.  He raised £2,000 for Denbury Boys V4V and Torbay Dementi.

Jack Adams/Richard Elloway Trophy

Imogen Bower, of Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire.  Aged only 2 yrs old, she accompanied her Mum Karen from Land's End to John o' Groats using trains, buses and boats, from 3rd July - 7th July.

 Joan Cave Memorial Cup

Stephen Sherborne, of Staplehill, Bristol.  Walked from land's End to John o' Groats in 75 days, 1st April - 14th June.  

Mabel McCracken Mug

Vaughan Williams, of Birmingham did his cycle trip from John o' Groats some years ago, the editor had to alter the criteria for this trophy to include Vaughan's highly amusing, non-pc account of his trip which has so far spanned 3 issues of the magazine, with more to come.

Shank's Pony Trophy

Chris Hatton, of Porthcurno Cornwall.  Walked from Land's End to John o' Groats in 40 days, 16th April - 25th May, he raised £2,500 for the Alzheimers Society. 

Tourco Trophy

Steve Kennett, of Chertsey, Surrey.  Motorcycled from John o' Groats to Land's End in 14hrs 17mins on 8th July, he raised £1,830.20 for Juvenile Diabetes.
